Our Story

WELCOME TO MY EVERYDAY;

Don't let our story end

The semicolon; In mental health, community represents someone dealing with a mental illness or the loss of someone to suicide.

"A semicolon; is used when an author could've chosen to end their sentence but chose not to. The author is you, and the sentence is your life.

The organization's name came about from Svetlana's conversations about her daily life with mental Illness and her daily struggles. She realized many people struggle, especially those in the black and other diverse communities, as mental health is still a very taboo subject.

The founder Svetlana Chernienko has shared her story on social media as well through tv contributions of her journey. She suffers from depression, anxiety and C-PTSD due to her going through domestic violence.

As a mental health advocate, she is breaking the stigma of mental health by speaking out about my mental health.

"Healing begins by bringing our communities together and starting a conversation; that is how we raise awareness."

Mental Illness does not discriminate!

It does not care if you are black, brown or white! Rich or poor! Young or old! It can affect us all. However, it's not discussed in the black and other diverse communities. It is encouraged not to be talked about; this is why Svetlana has focused on the black and other diverse communities.

Svetlana's goal is to raise awareness through events and campaigns to share stories, real stories from real people, in the hopes we can begin a conversation about healing and change.

Imagine how much we can accomplish as a community when we come together.

Imagine a world without the stigma of Mental Illness.

Don't let our story end;

Please help us, help our community.
